WMAA Club Instructors

Introduction

Club Instructors are experienced & skillful volunteers who have offered their time to the club to help educate beginner pilots to enable them to gain the required competencies to progress to the next level.

Any member with a minimum of Bronze wings can instruct others, however only suitably qualified (MAAA Certified Instructors) are authorized to award Bronze or higher wings.

 WORKING BEE DATES

Working Bee This Sunday : Love to see

.These are some of the things will endeavor to achieveI / Water trees along drive way and whipper snip grass around trees, flight
line and main gate area2 / General clean up in pit area around fences and BBQ area ready for fun
flying day 25/ 10/20153 / Repairs to main runway by digging out clump weeds and filling holes with
soil extra soil will be available 4 / Install bench seat at flight line this involves digging two holes5 / make up easier type of padlock holder for toilet door problem being padlock
hard to fit and lock6 / repairs to end of runway markers7 paint repaired start up bench ( blue )Tools needed : whippers snippers, hadocks or picks, bucketsRemember, the field is CLOSED during these important maintenance
activities.! !

 

9.00 A.M. start  All Welcome

Please bring along appropriate tools if you can

TASKS FOR NEXT WORKING BEE

Mow Pit Area

Fix orange mesh on runway approaches

Removal of dead trees/branches

Clear grass around council planted trees with whipper snippers

General cleaning (paper and rubbish)

Trim edges on flight line

Paint over any graffiti if required

Wanted unused stubby holders for start up benches

Remember, the field is CLOSED during these important maintenance activities.! !

look closely you will see George mowing the grass, he's caught the

 

working bee bug as well. Installing the new large model start up

 

pegs.Thanks to all that attended

Mt Beauty Trip 2016

Its on again MOUNT BEAUTY

April8th 9th & 10th.

 

 

If you are looking for a great weekend away with plenty of flying, wonderful B.B.Q.s and great scenery don't miss out. Come along and enjoy. Those          interested please let Jim Stafford know A.S.A.P. so that he can   inform the host Club of the numbers.                Accommodation is available at the Caravan Park  or a number of   Motels in the area.
